Dear Lord Jesus, help us to walk together in the light of Jesus, so we can have true fellowship of spirit with each other (I John 1:7).  Enable us to honor You by submitting to each other (Eph. 5:21).  Help us to live in complete harmony with the attitude of Christ toward each other (Rom. 15:5), as You give patience, faithfulness, and encouragement.  May we live joyfully in Your love through all the days of our lives (Ecc. 9:9).  May we be faithful and true to each other.  May my husband always rejoice in the wife of our youth.  May my tender embrace satisfy him.  May my love alone fill him with delight (Pro. 5:15, 18, 19).  A good wife is worth more than precious gems.  Let him know that he can trust me and that I am dedicated to helping him all my days (Pro. 31:10-12).

I will not get weary in prayer, but will keep praying and watching for Your answers.  I will thank You when the answers come (Col. 4:2).  I will keep on rejoicing in You, for I know that as I pray for my husband, and the Holy Spirit helps him, everything works for our good and Your glory (Phi. 1:19, Rom. 8:28-29).

By Your mighty power at work in my husband and me, You are able to do far more than I could ask or even dream - beyond my highest prayers, desires, hopes, or thoughts.  I praise You and give You glory (Eph. 3:20-21).  Amen.

this is VERY REAL

and it is not YOU.

I never would have believed it had it not happened to me, but it is real. The "white noise" is like an inability to focus or think clearly..it's hard to describe, but that can be caused by physical issues as well.  It might feel like your head is being gripped by a large hand. that's the other sensation I remember. The difference between these and actual physical issues is that if you pray, it stops suddenly. And prayer is VERY DIFFICULT. Like you're trying to move through quicksand, the air is like jello.

I understand so well what you mean by "white noise". That's how it feels when OM is around... An inability to focus or think clearly...
And what you wrote about the head being gripped by a large hand... YES, two large hands around the head trying to squeeze all good things out of it. I felt it too

I think it's very good to pray the daily prayer, but to be honest (and this is probably very bad and sinful to say so): it's so long and my thoughts start wandering even while praying it out loud (so I'm saying the words, but my thoughts are somewhere else). And when you pray the daily prayer, do you always say it with all that is within you, or do you sometimes (I feel really bad to admit it) just mumble it real quickly.... I mean, you probably don't, but I find myself mumbling it as quickly as I can. Not good.

I mean, that's like when a soldier is dragging his sword behind him through the mud and keeping his helmet dangling in the other hand. The shield hanging casually over the shoulder... okay, you get the picture

Not like it's supposed to be... this is what it's supposed to be, I know  ---- >

if you look in the Streams forum I have a daily prayer thread where I've kind of written out for you what happens to ME when I pray it, might give you some insight.

for a long time I used one that is in here instead of that one, I will say that there are days when I use the Lord's prayer as an outline, but I'm finding that if I discipline myself to stop... pause when I'm distracted, confess and apologize and ask for help to focus, it does help.... and Leah, it makes a huge huge huge difference in your ability to HEAR Him and you'll find Him speaking through it. with me He is putting pictures in my head sometimes, hard to explain.

the warfare prayers here, if praying for yourself, you'd only need to do once probably. I do pray them for some others when led to.

Ezekiel 37

37:1 Father, your hand is upon us in Spirit-led intercession for _______. Purify our hearts by your Spirit and deposit your burden of prayer in us, unmixed with unsanctified sympathies, anger, bitterness, or human judgments. We are trusting you to bring us through the valley of the shadow of death, as you promised. Lead us to pray as large, deep, and wide as your providence in this situation. Give us a heart of wisdom and mercy that rejoices against judgment for ________.

37:2 We trust that you have gone before and are working, even when we don't see your purposes. Spirit of the Lord, lead us to rightly discern the real condition of _________, not just react to what we think or have been told. You see the dry bones of barrenness and desolation. You know the entrances that ______ has given the kingdom of evil. _______ is oppressed, fragmented, miserable and unhappy, alienated from your blessing, morally compromised with sin and deception, rebelling against their parents and your Word, and in great danger. Their present condition is not hopeless to you. In darkness, you are light.

37:3 Spirit of counsel, you know everything. You don't need us to inform you. You want from us restful, trusting communion and absolute surrender to your will, your ways, and your timing. We humbly acknowledge our total dependence on you for faith to stand, for knowledge and counsel, for comfort and security, for direction and outcome. Let us speak only your prayers. Let us not accept as final the circumstances of wickedness and iniquity that our eyes see. You alone know the end from the beginning, and you are the God of the impossible.

37:4 Say to deaf ears, "Hear the word of the Lord!" At your direction, let us discern and pray your purposes for ______ and the entire family. Speak your words to them and cause them to respond obediently to you. Enable us to pray your prayers for the dry bones of ______'s body and soul (heart, mind, will, and emotions). Holy Spirit, call forth your purposes and the future and hope that you have planned for _________.

37:5-6 Sovereign Lord, speak your creative and restoring miracle to the barrenness in ________'s life with the same resurrection power that brought Jesus to life from the dead. Breathe new life into them by your Spirit. Set everything in place in working order in their life, so that ________ will know that you are Lord, Sovereign Ruler, rightfully due their loyalty and obedient service.

37:7 By faith, we believe you, obey you, and pray as you command. Answer by your Spirit and open a way where there seems to be no way. You go before, for you are the God of break-through. Give us a sign of encouragement. Let us hear the "rattling bones" coming together as you make ______ who you intend them to be: healthy, whole, functioning, life-giving. By your blood, Lord Jesus, regenerate life in them and cause the marrow of their inner being to begin to sustain life.

37:8 Thank you for every sign of Your goodness we see, no matter how small. You are answering, and we ask You to do it thoroughly. Superficial answers, cleaning up their act, and looking functional are not enough! Stop short of nothing less than a new heart, a new spirit, a new life. Enable us to reach deeper into Your heart to pray Your promises until Your full purposes are accomplished in all the family.

37:9 Sovereign Lord, call forth from the north, the south, the east, and the west the breath of life for ________. You formed them in their mother's womb, and as you breathed in them the first breath of their life, breathe into them the new life of the Spirit in all your favor and purpose. Restore them to wholeness. Speak to them, "Choose wisdom, choose righteousness, choose freedom, choose life!"

37:10-11 No situation is hopeless to you. Sovereign Lord, break off the shackles of captivity. Cause _______ to stand up in all the fullness of your redeeming power. Make _______ mighty in your Spirit. Deliver them as an effectual weapon in your hand. Set into them your spiritual gifts and calling among their generation of yet-to-be evangelists, preachers, disciplers, and world-changers that Satan is working overtime to annihilate. Let us see your glory in these things that were intended for evil.

37:12 You have the keys to open the prison doors of sin, bondage, and the pit of destruction. Bring this captive out into all their true inheritance in you. Restore them to the family and the family of God.

37:13-14 Father, act in such a way that ________'s transformation will be a testimony to your redemptive power. What you are doing, do quickly. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Forgive, O Lord, those who hate us and those who have wronged us. Do well unto those who do well. Grant to them those things leading to salvation and eternal life. Visit the afflicted and the sick with Your healing of soul and body. Guide those who travel. Remember in Your loving-kindness those who have asked us to pray for them. Remember those who suffer persecution for the faith. Remember those who persecute them. Remember those in need of material or spiritual blessings. Remember me also, O Lord, Your humble servant. DAILY PRAYER v 4.0


(Over the years we have grown in our understanding of prayer, and spiritual warfare, and of our need to be restored in the life of God each day. And so we have developed this prayer, which we call The Daily Prayer. It is entirely based on Scripture, almost like praying the Scriptures. For the details on that, see chapter ten in Waking the Dead. The prayer has sort of morphed through several generations, as we’ve learned something new about the work of Christ for us, or the ploys of the enemy. And so we offer you this, the latest version. May it be a source of life to you. Daily.)

My dear Lord Jesus, I come to you now to be restored in you, to be renewed in you; to receive your life and your love and all of the grace and mercy I so desperately need from you this day.  I honor you as my sovereign and I surrender every aspect and every dimension of my spirit and soul and body to you now; my heart, my mind my will.  I cover myself with the blood of Christ – spirit, soul, body, heart and I ask your Holy Spirit to restore me in you today – to renew me in you and to lead this time of prayer.  In all that I now pray (include wife and children by name) acting as their head I draw them under your authority and under your covering.  I cover them with your blood Jesus, their spirit, soul and body; their heart, mind and will.  I ask your Holy Spirit to apply to them all that I now pray on their behalf acting as their head.  In all that I now pray, I stand in agreement with your Spirit, Jesus – with my allies and intercessors – by your Spirit alone.

Dear God, holy and victorious Trinity, you alone are worthy of all my worship, my heart’s devotion, all my praise, all my trust and all the glory of my life.  I love you, I worship you, I trust you and I give myself over to you God in my heart’s search for life.  You alone are life and you have become my life.  I renounce all other gods, I renounce all idols and I give to you, God, the place in my heart and in my life that you truly deserve.  This is all about you and not about me.  You are the hero of this story and I belong to you.  I ask your forgiveness for my every sin.  I ask you to search me and know me and reveal to me where you are working, what you are asking and that you would grant to me the grace of your healing and deliverance and a deep and true repentance. 

Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me and choosing me before you made the world. You are my true Father—my Creator, my Redeemer, my Sustainer, and the true end of all things, including my life. I honor you as my sovereign; I love you, worship you, trust you and I give myself over to you now – spirit, soul and body; to be one with you in all things. Jesus I sincerely receive you as my deliverer from sin, death, judgment, and from the kingdom of darkness and its every claim. I receive all the work and triumph of your cross, death, blood and sacrifice for me, whereby my every sin is atoned for, I am ransomed and transferred to your kingdom, my sin nature is removed, my heart is circumcised unto God, and every claim being made against me is canceled, broken and dis¬armed by your cross and your blood, death and sacrifice this day throughout my kingdom and my domain. With (my wife and children by name) I now take my place in your cross in which I have died with you to sin, to my flesh, to the world, and to the evil one and his kingdom. And I have been raised with you to a new life, to live your life - dead to sin and alive to God. With (wife and children by name) I now take my place in your resurrection and in your life, whereby you have become my life; you are my life, and I am saved by your life. I reign in life through your life. I put on the new man – your life, humility, love and forgiveness, your integrity and purity and truth, your wisdom and discernment and cunning, your strength, courage, valor, joy, creativity and your union with the Father. I receive all the work and triumph in your authority, your ascension and your throne whereby you have judged Satan and cast him down.  You have disarmed his kingdom; all authority in Heaven and on Earth is given to you every ruler, power, authority and spiritual force of wickedness. All authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to you Jesus, all authority in Heaven and on this Earth is yours, and you are worthy to receive all glory and honor, power and dominion, now and forevermore. I have been given fullness in you, in your authority. With (wife and children by name) I take my place now in your ascension, and in your throne, whereby I have been raised with you to the right hand of the Father and established in your authority. I now bring your authority, rule, dominion and your kingdom over (wife and children by name), my life today, my home, household, land, vehicles, finances, my office, over all my kingdom and domain.  I now bring the fullness of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the power of his cross, the resurrection and ascension against Satan and against his kingdom; against every foul and unclean spirit raised against me this day - against every foul power and every black art, against all forms of spiritual warfare coming against me this day.  I disarm them through the full work and triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ and in Jesus’ name.  (At this point I spend a good bit of time naming all foul and unclean spirits that I know have been attacking me both historically or situationally, and that are likely to attack me such as fear, doubt, accident, injury, death, the Religious spirit, pride, arrogance – the list is long)  I send all foul and unclean spirits and all foul powers and black arts, all things raised against me this day banished from my life, home, family, household, kingdom and domain in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh and in Jesus’ name.  I ask you Father to apply to me all of the work and all of the triumph in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and in his ascension shared with me.  I receive it with thanks – I give it total claim to my spirit, soul and body, to my heart, mind and will.

Holy Spirit, thank you for coming. I love you, I worship you, and I trust you. I sincerely receive you and I receive all the work and victory in Pentecost, whereby you have come, you have clothed me with power from on high, sealed me in Christ; you have become my union with the Father and the Son, become the Spirit of truth in me, the life of God in me, my Counselor, Comforter, Strength, and Guide. I honor you as my sovereign, and together with (wife and children by name) I fully open every aspect and dimension of my spirit, soul and body, heart, mind and will to you and you alone together with the Father and the Son, to be filled with you, to walk in step with you in all things. Fill me afresh. Restore my union with the Father and the Son. Lead me into all truth, anoint me for all of my life and walk and calling, and lead me deeper into Jesus today. I receive you with thanks, and I give you total claim to my life.

Heavenly Father, thank you for granting to me every spiritual blessing in the Heavenlies in Christ Jesus. I claim the riches in Christ Jesus over my home, over (wife and children by name), over my vehicles and finances, my work, office, throughout my kingdom and my domain. I bring the blood of the Lord Christ over my spirit, soul, and body, my heart, mind and will.  I ask you to armor me with your armor. I gird myself with the belt of truth; I put on your breastplate of righteousness, shoes of your gospel and the helmet of your salvation. I take up your shield of faith and your sword of the Spirit, and I choose to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of your might and to pray at all times in the spirit.   

I summon your angels and I ask them to guard, to protect and to establish your kingdom throughout my kingdom and throughout my domain this day and to destroy all that is raised against me; to be my companions throughout the day.  Jesus I ask you to send your spirit forth in your kingdom and to wake, rouse, quicken and unite my intercessors and my allies this day which you would raise up the full company and canopy of prayer and intercession for me.  I call forth the kingdom of God and the glory, rule and dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ over my life, home, kingdom and throughout my domain this day - all of this in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and in Jesus’ name; with all thanks, worship and praise to you Jesus.  Amen
